March 3, 2023 - Lake Erie PAC UPDATE - Telus Health (formerly LifeWorks) announces Windup of the Lake Erie Salaried Plan

LAKE ERIE PENSION ADVISORY COMMITTEE UPDATE: 

The Lake Erie Salaried Pension Plan is now fully funded and the windup process has begun and will probably take a couple of years to be fully completed. In the meantime Morneau Shepell who was the Administrator appointed in 2017, later changed its name to LifeWorks and has just amalgamated with Telus, a worldwide benefits provider. Is now doing business as Telus Health.

Telus Health has sent a letter dated March 3 2023 along with a Questions and Answers sheet to each of Lake Erie Salaried Plan’s members explaining the initial activities that will occur as the windup process proceeds. A generic copy of the letter and its Q&A sheet are posted in the Lake Erie Members area for their reference.

There will be more communications issued by Telus Health as certain milestones are passed.  In additon, your Lake Erie PAC will keep you apprised of new developments as permitted.

Copies of the Wind-up  Notice and Q&A sheet mailed to all Lake Erie Plan Members on  March 3, 2023 are posted in the Members Area (Pensions/Lake Erie/ PAC).
